Do you need ear, nose, and throat anesthesia services but do not want to have surgery in a hospital setting? There are many advantages to both the patient and the physician to have anesthesia done in an office setting. SleepGuardian offers this service and is able to provide you with expert-level anesthesiologists who are experts in their field. ENT surgery requires a significant amount of cooperation and coordination between the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. This is why it is beneficial that we are able to communicate with your surgeon at every step along the way. At SleepGuardian, we want to give you the best experience possible during your surgery.
Anesthesia Services That Work For You
At SleepGuardian, we work with you to provide the ENT anesthesia services that work best for you and your specific ENT procedure. We work with your surgeon to determine the best method of sedation for you. This all depends on your comfortability and the surgery you are having. Our professionals will work seamlessly with your surgeon to determine that the patient has adequate medication to keep the patient asleep for the duration of the surgery, calming your anxiety and fears.
Our goal is to help you feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the process. We are able to accomplish this first by offering our SleepGuardian procedures in an office setting, which allows you to work with your normal ENT doctor in the comfort of their own office. In addition to contributing to your comfortability, the office setting lowers the cost of the surgery for you significantly.
We go above and beyond to provide you with the care you need by speaking with you about the process beforehand and answering any of your questions. All of our professionals are highly trained and will provide you with all of the information you need to remain comfortable and informed about your ENT procedure.
About Our Physician Anesthesiologists
When you need anesthesia services for your ear, nose, and throat, you will work with one of our highly-trained physician anesthesiologists. Each member of our team is board-certified and trained to provide you with the anesthesiology you need for ENT services. At our SleepGuardian centers, our professionals have thousands of hours’ worth of training in anesthesia for airway, general anesthesia, and emergency management. In surgery, we are able to communicate with your surgeon and provide you with the best care possible.
Our physician anesthesiologists are able to provide you with a range of anesthesia options, including:
- Minimal Sedation: During minimal sedation, patients remain relatively awake during their dental procedure. Patients are able to relax the whole time and feel minimal pain.
- Moderate Sedation: With moderate sedation, patients are responsive despite feeling drowsy. They also may sleep through the procedure, and may or may not remember being in the procedure room.
- Deep Sedation: With deep sedation, patients typically fall into a light sleep, usually without an airway device. Patients cannot wake up easily during surgery.
- General Anesthesia: General anesthesia is a drug-induced loss of consciousness during which patients lose consciousness and are not able to be aroused during surgery.
Through these different methods, we are able to ensure that sure each patient gets through their ENT procedure as comfortably and safely as possible.
